question on photo-etch annealing

I need to anneal some photo-etch on my stove top. How high should I set the burner and when will I know that it has been heated enough?

I'm assuming it's an electric stove; put it on high and let the piece get as hot as possible-- glowing is nice-- and then remove it and let it cool. How large is the piece? I usually just use a Bic lighter or a candle flame to anneal small pieces-- it's a lot faster.

I'm looking at doing some fine antennas - GMM's Enterprise radars and ParaGrafix's Pilgrim Observer dishes. I need to pick up a butane torch for larger parts. I will experiment with some frets.

To soften and bend it. Helps it to wrap around curves without wanting to spring back on you.
