Any tips for removing cured Aves from styrene?

I'm looking to remove cured Aves putty from a model. Any tips or tricks? I tried just picking at it with an x-axcto but it seems like a pretty good bond.

Pop it in the freezer? Hit it with the hair drier? Trash it and start over?

Freezing it should enable you to pop it off if it's really hard. If you can get under the edge with a hobby knife, especially if you have one that's flattened like a spatula, and pry upwards it might pop off that way too.

Freezing can help pop it off. Stuff is tenacious as hell when you don't want it to be.

I'm not sure about freezing. It might just make your styrene brittle.

Yes, yes it has been. I did more harm than good so the kit goes to the spares bin.

Soak it in Super Clean. It will turn the putty into something along the times of wax candy at which point you can scrape and pop it list.

I've never tried Simple Green. Super Clean I learned about by accident whilst stripping paint.
