solder impregnated flux?

Hi All,

I'm looking for a paste flux that is impregnated with micro-sized balls of solder. So when soldering, one just apply this paste and touch the joint with the iron. Does this makes sense? I hope to use this on delicate photo-etch.

I think this exists, at least I remember seeing such a item. Search on the Googles didn't result in anything useful.

Any pointers would be helpful, thanks.

Evil Mad Scientist has a good write up on it, and here's someone on YouTube using solder paste.

Anyone used solder paste with photo-etch? Any recommendation on brand or grade of solder paste?
