Resistors: before or after LEDs in the sequence?

Doesn't really matter - just needs to be in the same part of the circuit to keep the current under control.

Hey, Wow!

I had the same series but its more on the guy with the drums. However, mine was done halfway because the model was very prone to scratches on the corners. But yea, using red and orange 0805 SMDs for the lights, 0603 or 0805 for the side indicators plys 3mm warm white LEDs for the front headlights are OK. And in your case either a set of three pure 0805 LED for the inside's florescent lighting or three 3mm wide angle LEDs as bubs might the trick.

Sorry I forgot to mention that the 0805 Warm-whites would be great for the lanterns as well but need to use very thin wires such as Kynex. Good idea for using white LEDs and clear orange/red paints. This will reduce your current limiting resistor headaches.

Hahaa, I have the mobile arcade version of that kit! Funny thing is that it still has the kitchen and lantern parts.

I'm planning on using a Tiny Cylon kit to have some random blinky lights:

Yeah, I'd like to get that arcade truck, too. Do the game screens come with clear plastic panes so that they can be lit from the inside? It's natural for these kits to share the same parts since they just repop the same runners and shade out the unused parts in the manual's runner pics on a case-by-case basis. It wastes plastic, but it's cheaper than retooling each truck in the same series.

FYI, "wasshoi!" is what people exclaim when they are hefting a matsuri (Japanese festival) float. This one is just a truck though. Many of them are held up by people, or some are carts that people push around.

My original idea was to record a few seconds of the of the people shouting 'Wasshoi!" but it did not work out since the videos from YouTube was not what I expected. I was also thinking of how to move the drummer's arms with some servo too.

But painting the body was as far as I got at that time since my Day Job was taxing me emotionally as I would not know when I would be let go or stay.

Still, looking at HobbySearch, the arcade panels seems to be solid plastic so you might need to cut them out, get some clear plastic as screen, put a layer of semi-opaque piece acting as backlit screen for the decals. I think a Tamiya 0.3mm pla-plate might do it.
