Superglue

Re: Superglue
I.M.O super glue is really only good for filling in small holes or gaps(specifically on resin kits but OKAY for styrene kits but I never use it for that). However, when you are working with a styrene kit,"chemical bonds" are always STRONGER than a mechanical bond which is what super glue is.Use a solvent for styrene kits always and whenever possible unless o are doing something when it isn't possible. For resin kits a good 5 min epoxy is the best bond for ataching "small parts" together unless you need a "stronger bond" for a fail safe bond use a higher grade holding epoxy resin.
Re: Superglue
If you are filling holes or gaps with CA a touch of banking soda on the glue after you place it makes it harder and dries it faster.

Re: Superglue
Kylwell, is there a specific Gorilla CA glue to look for or is it just Gorilla CA?

Re: Superglue
You'll want the blue cap CA. It used to say "rubber toughened" or some such but now it's just "Impact Tough".
