Mechwarrior Timberwolf PC

Post by Scratcht_Modding »

Hello everybody and thanks for the record. I am Andreas and I love model making. It may be something that does not exist. Because of this love I came on Casemodding and build among other things also PC housing. Here I want to introduce you my ajtuelle Mechwarrior Timberwolf PC project.

Interesting choice going with wood. I'm curious to see where you're going to mount the PC bits in the mech.

Neat! I wouldn’t have thought of that.

I continue diligently and hope tonight to be able to build the 'Mech together. Fill, sand and paint for 3 days :(

Today was once laid electricity with the appropriate junction box.

Then built together and controlled.

Of course, like the last days sanded, smoothed and painted.

Oh yes, and the 20 missile tips were ready today.

They were all cast in resin and then I went straight to the hardware store and found gaskets that exactly fit the rockets.

Then it went with the arms arm and the installation of the second power supply and other.

NICE!Is that based on the Weta Workshop kit? Well, it was started 2 years ago. I just couldn't see any pictures before.

Right, and nobody responded for 2 years... Normally threads disappear after a month, so it was surprising. I see now that there are old threads in the Scratchbuilding subforum. Guess this section is spared from the incessant ax.

Looks like Scratcht_Modding was scared off by the warm welcome anyway, so they're long gone.

Not many out there working on scratch building projects, or at least they aren't posting about them. It was a 'thing" a while ago when the RPF was "new" or at least newer. There were some guys who basically re-built just about every star wars subject and often re-posted in here at least from time to time. I think 3d printing has done in allot of the scratch building. I could be wrong?
