A recent find at a dollar store is this LED TAPER CANDLE:

The dimples are easily cut out for sensor blisters, etc., and not all are simple smooth hemispheres - some have ridges, etc.

I've wondered if and which plastic egg containers would make good Y wing engine ends. They were not the spherical ends of Leggs originally if I'm not mistaken. I would think they would also make for fairly good engine bells.
