Just a paint-stripping tip

Post by Digger1 »

I had to strip the paint off the model I painted yesterday what didn't cure right. I sprayed it down with Easy-Off oven cleaner and let it sit a few hours. I then took a .99¢ nail brush sold at drug stores everywhere to scrub the model. Sure, there was a lot of particulate spray from scrubbing but that's easily cleaned up. The nail brush in conjunction with the Easy-Off works better for me than using one of those green scour pads.

Just remember to wear kitchen gloves. Yeee-owch! I don't have any cuticles left!

I often use an old toothbrush in conjunction with the Easy-Off.

I did that once, too. I just found the stiffer bristles of the nail brush seemed to work better.
