Tamiya Spray paints.. ?
Just wanted to get some impressions, are they any good?
Yup. go on smooth and dry with an "eggshell" finish. Use them outside only. The vapors are extremely strong. Even on a day with a breeze i still wound up light headed and with a ringing in my ears. An airbrush booth is not ehough for these. The paints do dry quickly though and have no trouble with thinners when doing washes on them.

I've been quite pleased with the results I've had using them.
Definitely give them a try.

I'd add that when you spray them, be ready for a deluge of paint. You can empty a can in about 1 minute if you aren't careful, and flooding the paint on is a problem you must be careful of. Start the spray from at least a foot and a half away from the surface of the model and adjust until you get the distance right.
I like the stink of them! Spray em in a closed room and you'll get high as a kite! The paint is really durable once dry, too!

I've been using Tamiya rattle-can AS-16 (Light Gray) to paint my AT-AT, and it produces a really good finish, better than Testors Model Masters rattle-cans. The only downside is that it takes me 2-3 coats to get full coverage of a part, so I go thru cans rather quickly. This will be my last model to use cans on, because it's too darn expensive and too limiting. They are correct in that the paint is very tough after it dries.
