Decal paper consensus?

Post by Antenociti »

I've read through most of the decal threads and the sticky and was wondering if there was any sort of consensus on the best decal paper (water-slide and rub-down) and decal solutions/fixatives.

I've tried making my own decals before using unbranded materials and the results were less than spectacular, although to be fair a lot of that was down to errors in the process by me most of which are covered in the sticky and its links.

So, as I’m going to try it all again what’re the best paper and solutions (UK based if that makes any difference).

(Currently I am considering here -
http://www.craftycomputerpaper.co.uk/index3.html for both water-slide and rub-down - unless there are any horror stories? )

I`m using those too, they`re perfect for me and my Canon Pixma inkjet printer!
