storing paint bottles, up, down, or on the side?
I've been keeping my tamaya and Model master acrylic bottles upside down, with no problem beyond needing a good shaking. I'm thinking about putting them on their sides, instead, in a 'spice rack'. Any thoughts on that method of storage?

I used 20oz pop bottle caps and some round avery labels.
Works quite well and I can find a paint color at a glance.

I too use a spice rack, and a converted wooden cassette tape rack.
(more jars per rack inch, and hey, what else wasI going to do with that
'Napa Valley' 36 x 24 shelf in the land of cd's?)
I store them in the right side up or upside down (making sure closed
tightly as mentioned above), the 'rotate the stock' every now and then
flipping the jars to the opposite end up-especially if I am getting ready
to use the jar.
