Need advise (on building a small vacuum chamber)

Got a question about techniques, materials or other aspects of physically building a model? This is the place to ask.

I'm in the same spot. I've found a few easily buidable designs, although I'm not happy with any of them.

Simple box and frame

Similar design, but with details

Another detailed design

Vince Hoffmann (who's on the board) has a similar design as well.

A larger machine, but with an integral heater.

Thanks for the links. But I am looking to build a vacume chamber for resin casting. So that I may degass the silicone and resin. That way I don't get bubbles in the mold or casting.

thanks again for the links,

(Do you see the trend here, Curt? Make your subject lines mean something instead of something so generic, please.)
Is this plastic thingy on the counter a model part or can I throw it away?

Here's my setup, note that the vacuum chamber lid is not used in pressure casting.

I use the pressure pot for the vacuum chamder with a different lid. I have two pots, and a roto bucket.
