I am making a model and plan to include small fighters, in the past I have used very fine sewing needles to attach fighters perpendicular to a verticle surface.
Has anyone else tried anything different? I was thinking of perspex rods from the base but they will need to be 1mm diameter and 15-20cm long. Has anyone seen any that thin and are they strong enough?

That day, Vader was amazed to discover that when
fett was saying "As you wish", what he meant was, "I love you."
And even more amazing was the day he realized he truly loved him back.

like this? (he has a good "how i made this" section to go along with many of his models... impressive, and a handy learning tool)
Or are the fighters bigger than that?

Perspex rods in that diameter (yes, I have some that thin) are muuuuuuuch to flexible to be used for such a length. You can use those for a maximum of 2-3 cm, not more.Kenny wrote:Has anyone else tried anything different?
