I have a big roll of speaker wire. it can be split down the middle and have 2 seperate insulated wires. Is this speaker wire any good for lighting models ?

sure, it may be over sized for LEDs but fro larger draw items like fluroscent lighting it might be the right size (is it 18 AWG).

I am not sure what gauge it is. I have the jupiter 2 led light circuits and want to extend the length of the switches so i can activate the fusion core and the top bubble dome light circuit from about 2 feet away. :D
