I am looking for somethign that i could cast (if possible) in rubber molds.
These rubber tires will be used on the wheels of my 1:6 scale Tiger tank
I have gotten samples from Smooth-On:
45D
65D
C1515 (black in color)
C1520 (black in color)
not good enough, they are slightly bendable if at all. this won't work. i need something softer.
how to make soft flexible tires?

have you ever tried it?

i believe this is the product a guy at the prop forum used to make the top push button for the "PAL" hand held communicator. it looks and feels like rubber.OdysseySlipways wrote:have you ever tried it?

note the word "beleive" in the above paragraph.
there is also that stuff that is sold at TRU that is used to make insects and such. it has to be baked but IIRC has the tendency of fishing lures.
it is cheap.
