Holy Crap, it worked (un-yellowing decals)!
A while back it was suggested that in order to un-yellow old decals that you expose them to sunlight as the UV rays will kill that yellowing.
So, 3 days ago I taped the SE Voyager decal sheet to the window in the front of the house and it worked!
I only wish that I had before and after to show you all. So to answer the question, "Yes, it does work."

Ya, well neener, neener to you.
I taped mine to the front window for two weeks to no avail? Then it occured to me that my "nice" windows just might include UV blockers??? I'll have to find a cheaper window? I hesitate to try a car since sometimes in this humidity I see condensation in autos overnight?

Get a el-cheapo piece of glass (from a picture frame at the Dollar store, if you are currently out),
tape it to the backside of that with the surface of the decals in contact with the glass. Set the decals out in
the sunshine on good days or in a sheltered place, glass side up. Depends on your home set-up, SpaceDuck.
Hope this helps.

Get a cheap glass canister jar from a linens & things or other such store.
Seal the decal sheet in the jar facing out.
set it on your deck/porch for a day or two.
Ti,
Thanks for that thought.
Karim,
Okay, I can see that working since I would feel the decal was less vulnerable to peeing dogs and further yellowing.
Thanks all

The only problem I can think of with my idea would be the heat (A literal greenhouse effect). If you live in a cool climate, it should be fine... but where I live, its so hot in summer that even if it killed the yellowing, the heat would kill the decals, I think.SpaceDuck wrote: Karim,

Hmmmmm....LindaSmile wrote:Or in a picture frame. No need to go out and buy a new piece of glass.
Framed 'art', how "apprapo".
Yes Ti, the frame could be hung high and away from the 'critters'.
I've actually had a Reliant painted that's waiting on the print shop for aztec masks (another story) but has yellowed decals. I'm running out of excuses folks!
Thanks all!
