Best inkjet decal paper?

Post by Sluis Van Shipyards »

I want to start printing some decals and I've seen lots of types of decal paper that says it's for inkjets. So what's best to use?

Personally I've had really excellent results with SuperCal using Epson waterproof inks. I admit I've not tried any other inkjet decal paper.

I tried the Testors decal paper, and there was only the slightest hint of bleed in the inks(though that may have been too much decal solution).

I get all mine from MicroMark. My success has been very good and they're dirt cheap compared to other suppliers (about a buck a sheet).

I've had good results with paper from Kustom Rides.

There's no mfg. markings on the back of the paper, so I don't know where they're sourcing it from. Nice thin film, though, and works well with Microscale set/sol.

I've seen them in their catalog, I just wasn't sure how well they worked. I might try those first because there's usually something I need to order from them.
