FS Paint Chart?
I need a link to a FS paint chart, preferably one that has a search feature(not necessary, but would help as Hasegawa doesn't list FS numbers in it's kits). I want to get a list of the colors I need and print the equivilant onto a sheet of cardstock and get the appropriate color or a close match with it.

Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage
to change the things I cannot accept, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of those I had to kill today because they got on my nerves.
And help me to remember when I'm having a bad day and it seems that people are trying to wind me up, it takes 42 muscles to frown, 28 to smile
and only 4 to extend my arm and smack someone in the mouth!

This is a good one too:

You can do a control F and search for FS codes on this page.

Thanks for the quick replys! But I'm not sure on a few points: Trekkriffic, the site you listed has the colors, but several of them are repeat names(a good example: there are two Olive Drabs in there). The color chart I've got doesn't have one FS number in the whole lot, and has quite a selection of colors:
Red, Yellow, Silver, Flat Black, bright Blue, Steel, Wood Brown, Red Brown, Olive Drab, Neutral Grey, Burnt Iron, Khaki Green, Clear Red, Clear Yellow, Clear Blue.
Now, I can get all the basic colors(yellow, red, bluw, black, etc.), but the specifics are ambiguous. The only thing close to Khaki Green that I found was Khaki Drab on the IPMS color chart, and the FS number on it is the same as the second Olive Drab color in the Chassis Plans site. I really need help on this one.
Btw, the kit I'm talking about is the Hasegawa P-51D Mustang "Jumping Jaques". It's a beautiful kit and I want to do it justice.

You're right. I see 3 FS codes for Olive Drab. The codes vary according to the finish (1-gloss, 2-semi gloss, 3-matt), color, and light or dark value.
So FS 14087 woudl be a gloss olive drab while FS34087 would be flat. FS34088 woudl be flat and slightly lighter than FS34087.

Olive drab is more yellowish than khaki which has more brown in it.

Hm. Maybe I'd have better luck with this if I just downloaded a picture of an actual P-51 cockpit. So then 34087 would be what Hasegawa calls "Khaki Green"? If it helps any, the color number for the Mr. Color line is #54 and the Gunze number is 80.

Most Hasegawa kits list Gunze-Sangyo paint codes. Here's a Chart that lists GS paint codes with color chips. You should be able to cross reference with FS colors.
