vacu-forming advice

Hello kind reader,

My brother in law just picked up a shop vac for my birthday....so onward to vac forming.

Anyway, what kind of advice can I get about vac forming. how much detail...panel lines, windows,...ect, can it get?

I know what your thinking....get out there and experiment. But, any advice would be appreciated.

If you vac form into a female mould, you can pick up all sorts of fine detail like panel lines for example. The female mould wants raised lines obviously if you want your finished part to have recessed lines but assuming your vac mould is cast off a master with recessed lines then this shouldn't be a problem.
