Here's the deal: I want to paint aluminium foil, flat, and then shape it afterwards. Do I prime w/ trusty Mr. Surfacer? Is that or Tamiya rattle can paint going to be flexable enough for bending the foil?
Any thoughts?

painting aluminium foil
The Destructo Beam is the most powerful destructive weapon ever wrought by man. It is capable of vaporizing the Earth into.........vapor.
Nothing I've ever used would stick to AL foil after it was crumpled. Use thicker AL, like a soda can, bend it up, then paint. It will still have a really good crushed metal look to it, yet be rigid enough to hold its shape once you start handling it, also any paint you put on it can be easily scraped off with an xacto to simulate any desired chipping.
