Would using methylated spirits to remove enamel paint damage tamiya gray putty, or any other putty for that matter?

Have you looked under "paint removal"?
Normal?? What is normal??

I know the thread is there, I just did'nt have time to look through 3 pages. So I just thought that someone could give me a simple yes or no answer.
