Rub-down decals + overcoat
Im getting hold of some rub-down decals for a model (not waterslide) and am wondering if there are any issues I need to be aware of in coating them. They are going on top of Future, which I presume will not be a problem, but is anyone aware if I can coat over them with Future?

Overcoating them with Future really locks them down. However, my two experiences with dry transfers showed me two things. Futured surfaces don't take dry transfers well - there's not enough "tooth" for them. Flat surfaces seem to take them better.
But, my experience was admittedly limited.
I hope this helps.

I've found the same thing as Kenny. Unlike decals, dry transfers prefer flat surfaces to bond to. It isn't strictly necessary, but it helps. Rub them down good, and don't lift the backing paper until you are dead certain that the whole dry transfer is bonded. Then rub it some more, just to be safe. After that you can clear coat over them with whatever you like.
I speak of the pompatous of plastic.
