Hi all,
Does anybody have anything good or bad to say about the Testors Blue Ice mini-compressor, especially as compared to the Iwata Silver Jet (which, I know, has its own thread right now, but with only one response)? I am new at airbrushing; I've got a Badger 360 on order, and am looking to get an inexpensive compressor and build a spraybooth.
The Blue Ice can be had for around $85 incl. shipping, the Iwata for about $40 more. The only use will be for modeling; the noise level and general wholesome goodness are both important.
Anybody know if the Badger airbrush & these compressors even use the same fittings?
Thanks!
Jeff

I'd love to hear the answer too. I'm also trying to compare compressors right now.

I am VERY partial to Iwata products and use their airbrushes and compresser.
The iwata compresser I have is much better than my old Paasche or testors. Quieter, and MUCH less pulsing. Very smooth air flow.
It can be a PITA to hook up company a's airbrush to company b's compresser.
Iwata has great customer support, though, if you have q's about that you can email or call them.
