clear plastic balls?

I need a clear sphere about 33mm in diameter, hollow would be fine. anyone know a place I can buy one with out having to spend $100 or more?

Here are some hemispheres that are 31.8 millimeters wide:

Definitely check out the craft supply stores, Michael's and A.C. Moore during the holidays. Lots of folks like making their own ornaments, or putting some sentimental item inside a clear sphere to turn the item into an ornament. I even bought one of the extra large clear spheres to put a 50 year old ornament that became too brittle/too precious to put on the tree unprotected.

33 mm is a bit over 1". You might also want to check out the 'gum ball' machines. Some of those spheres are in this range.

I was wondering the same thing too.I know Michaels and Franklin Crafts store have some plastic domes,small though.I don't know how big they are,but the largets may be pushing 8-10".They were in mm,so i don't remember how big they were exactly.I know plastistruct has all kinds of plastic shapes(not to mention domes),and I think the largest acrylic dome they make is around 10. xxx something inches?I'd like to find a 12" dome,but don't know where to find one?Any thoughts?

UsPlastics has acrylic spheres from 3/8 inch to 3 inches.
