Anyone know what is the best glue they've found that 1) Dries transparent as in NO DULLNESS, and 2) Does NOT shrink after it dries.
I'm trying to come up with ways to make the buttons on the consoles of the ST TOS bridge. I want to push some glue underneath the plastic console panel that has holes drilled through in the appropriate button positions. The glue will protrude to the other side. Once it dries, I'm hoping for tiny transparent 'buttons' of differing sizes, depending on the sizes of the holes drilled, that I can paint with tranparent paint.
Glue that dries transparent.

You would have to do some experiments, to see what
viscocity of glue will hold the height and dimension of
your buttons. CA, elmers, canopy glue all dry fairly clear.
I built mine up first then did clear castings..
