Well, I counted around 28 individual accounts on this thread, but it has over 2000 views. That avg's around 80+ views per person....seems a lot, although some of us might just be a tad obsessive.

We at least still seem to have lurkers...thanks!

Hi,
Feel like I should acknowledge that 'i'm here'.

I was on board years ago, maybe over 20 years past and a lurker before then, but due to work constraints became just a drop in reader rather than contributor about 12 years ago.

The site has changed and those who I spoke regularly to I have lost contact with. Kind of reflects life I guess.

I have a real soft spot for SSM so it's sad hearing it talked about as if it is in decline, but I don't 'do' FB or other platforms so I guess that's what happens if I fail to keep up with the newer trends.

I still think about the builds and exchanges of ideas with Ward Sharke, Buzzbomb, Dr Yo, HWR MkII, Butters and many others.

While my life has more time now to devote to other things, making starships and chatting about them has yet to be revived. I do still like dropping by though, so Hi.... Everyone.

I've been here since not long after the site started. Pretty sure I found it through a Webring (remember those?). Almost 30 years ago?

I remember the old forum, which was not as user friendly.

I'm on the Facebook group, but due to the way FB shows posts, find it much less easy to find new topics. Here you scan the titles and if there's something new and interesting, it's good. FB serves you what it thinks you want.
