OK, I have some castings I made, and I cannot get primer to stick to them at all.
These are the missiles I had at Wonderfest, if anybody saw them there.
The problem seems to be worst at the mold seams on the castings - there area has a slight bubbling, and I've been trying to fill them. I thought the problem with the first batch was because they had been left in a hot car. I just cast up a new batch, and they have the same problem.
I've tried washing them, wipeing them down with lacquer thinner, etc. No joy.

Try spritzing them with thin CA. From my limited experience, the CA will stick to anything, and the paint will stick to the CA. CA also emtombs whatever is leaking out of the resin, and keeps it from bubbling out later to ruin your paint job. I've only done this twice before, but it worked just fine.
I speak of the pompatous of plastic.
