Endglow solid fiber optic cable

How much light will these put out? Will it look like a lit piece of plastic, or will it put out quite a bit of light? I'm trying to replicate engine glow on a ship, using LEDs, and I'm trying to avoid having an LED just sticking ut the end of the nozzle.

I can't tell you for sure but those at the top of the page but i guess that the little ones at the top of the page are going to have a hard time giving out a good glow.... maybe the bigger one would do the job... i guess you'll have to try it
