Has anybody here used SINTRA and if so what do they think about it?
How does it cut, shaped, can it be carved, cut by hot-wire and so on and so forth.

Is "sintra" the same as "celtec"?
Nope, I guess Sintra is foamed polystyrene, and Celtec is foamed PVC.
I wouldn't breath any of the fumes if you use a hot wire to cut either.
I've had a look at some Celtec samples, my impression was that it was lighter for its thickness than a standard thin sheet of the same material.
This allowed a more rigid build without substantially increasing the weight.
The boat and bridge deck here are built of Celtec.
