Don't know if this forum or the "Figure" forum is best suited for this question so here goes.........
I recently picked up a M1 Godzilla '64 full scale head off Yahoo Japan. The thing is, I have no idea what kind of paint will work on the very soft rubbery vinyl the thing is cast out of. The kit had a huge piece of un-needed flash that I cut off and have been testing various paints on the piece to see what paints "stick" and work best and really, nothing seems to work good. Any kind of acrylic paint simply cracks and peels off because the material is so flexible, same with some vinyl "flex" paints used for touching up leather and vinyl upolstery. I know lacquer based paints will never dry on this kind of vinyl. It's not a matter of the material being oily or dirty as I soaked and cleaned it with hot water and mild detergent overnight.
This is the item, btw:

Any help?
