reinforcing thin styrene

Post by Digger1 »

I accidentally sanded the end to one of the SFSM's Romulan bird-of-prey too thin and it's got a strip of no styrene in a semi-circle. Is there a way I can fix it to make the endcaps adhere better?

For clarity, it looks something like this.

I'm afraid to put putty on it because the thin styrene (gray area) is super thin and probably will melt.

Pack it with Aves or Black CA and sand to fit.

Aves Apoxie sculpt or QuickPlastic should do the trick for you.
