They mean nothing without images. This makes more sense:

http://www.tamiya.com/english/products/ ... amel_1.htm
http://www.tamiya.com/english/products/list/spray.htm

It's sitting right there on the Tamiya website. Or else just buy the current tamiya catalog book. The full chart is inside too.

Great links, thanks. I bought 2 cans of Tamiya paint. the haze grat color chip here really doesn't look anything like the colored caps on the paints. the haze gray cap looks exactly like a neutral gray and the color chip here, looks almost like a light green of some kind , how accurate are these color charts on the PC monitor ? ( mine has great color) thanks for any help. I also bought the tamiya fine white primer, i heard that that is a very good primer to work with.

Each monitor will display the colour chart slightly different, thus NO accuracy. Try to get hold of a printed copy.bert aka model maker wrote:Great links, thanks. For primers my preferences are in sequence(of usage):
Mr. Surfacer 500, Mr Surfacer 1000 & Mr Base White.

the colors i am concerned about are TS-32, haze gray & AS-16 light grey (usaf) the caps are the color of medium or nuetral gray and camoflage gray. these are the exact colors i need IF the paint is identical to the paint caps. Thanks zen-builder for the reply I kinda wondered about the monitors translation of the colors. My hobby shop didn't have any paint chips or charts to compare with. I think the paint should be the same as the caps or else why color them
