Fine Molds paint sheet

Post by modelnutz »

I picked up a Fine Molds X-Wing at W-Fest ( thanks Linda ! ) and when I got home I had a chance to examine it.
Surprise, surprise....the instructions are in Japanese !
The build is no problem ( who uses the instructions anyway  )
but the paint chart is totally non decipherable. :?

Is there any help out there for a translation or a list of color substitutions?

Help me obiwans...you're my only hope :D

Here you go:

http://www.hlj.com/product/FNMSW-01

Check down at the bottom of the text section, and you'll find links to English translations.
Hope that helps!

How come nobody has ever translated any of the other instruction sheets?

I know I would love to have one for the TIE and TIE Interceptor kits.

If I am not mistaken the paint chart gives the number equivilant of the Tamiya color, just cross reference those numbers w/ the numbers on Tamiya's website...

How much are you willing to pay for a translation?

Guys, that do that stuff for a living don't come cheap.
HLJ did you guys a favour by providing the info for the X-Wing.
