If you need realy small motors, try this for size:(and pun was intended) :)

scroll to the bottom of the page the Type A motor.
1.5 volt motor
length 20mm
width 8mm

Now that's small for a decent price.

itty bitty cell phone vibrator motors!
I found some nice small ones with gear boxes in old video cameras, VHS is basically dead so stip them for parts.
