Possible one stop spot lights for large scale ships?

Post by Chas »

Just wondering if anyone has used these, and what you think of the idea of using them for spot lighting a polar lights refit? http://www.flexiglow.com/products/LazerLED.htm

Well I was thinking of placing them inside the front end of the Nacelles with only the tips showing through. They also sell them in singles but not in white  but I assume the singles are probably simillar in size. Check out the pic in this link where it's lighting up a magazine.

While they'd be great for building a base with spots they're just an LED with a lens to help it focus, and yes, when people are talking about 2 & 3mm LEDs, those are huge.

Well I guess they would be better as external spot lights. Anyone got a good idea for making tiny little Batman insignias? I got a diorama idea. :P
