Mineral spirits are a petroleum distillate commonly used as a paint thinner and mild solvent. Paint thinner is a generic name for a varienty of fluids, Acetone, Mineral turpentine, Turpentine, Naphtha, Toluene, White spirit, Xylene, & Methyl ethyl ketone (MEK). Lacquer thinner is a mixture of several solvents typically containing butyl acetate and xylene or toluene. Out of the three, it's usually considered the most volatile.
