Future flat coat?

I'm sorry. I searched and got 1,000 hits on this site for the subject. Somewhere someone explained how to add Tamiya flat base to future to get flat and semi flat. I did it once and it was much more uniform than any other acrylic flat. Could someone who knows repeat for me? Thanks.
