Got a question about techniques, materials or other aspects of physically building a model? This is the place to ask.

Flexi Panavise for display stands

Post by Glorfindel »

Has anyone used one for mounting their models on? I'm thinking about picking one up to see how I can apply it to my models. Any ideas on this subject?javascript:emoticon(':?:')

A swiveling model base sounds cool... It does have a locking thumb
screw to hold it's postion. I lucked into a Sennheiser swivel joint for
$10 on thE bay. The Panavise versions start at about $25.

:D

You could also disassemble something like this to get the swivel joint.

Also reflector mounts...

They can be a bit bulky...
