Re: Cheap LED Strip Lighting @ Wallyworld!

My question is, how do you seperate and wire them for specific use? I know to cut at specific spots so as not to destroy the lights, but each segment is set up for red, green and blue. Most led strip connectors i’ve seen are set up for single light tyoe leds.

Disaster recovery; advice on casting tiny parts.

The up side, bought a house and getting ready for the move. The bad, my in progress BB-8 took a dive from head level and the his 'crown' is M.I.A. 'Crown', part D 18. Good news is I found another kit on Amazon for like $23 shipped, so another is on the way. I want to use the new kit to cast a replac...

Make sure the tip, head and needle protective cap is seated properly. I had issues with mine a while ago and bought all the replacement bits, which didn't help. While fiddling around, I reseated the tip, head and needle protective cap and it worked fine.

Mold material

Has anyone ever used sculpty or similar material to form molds?

The stuff starts out like clay, but is hardened in the oven.

I figured I'd ask before trying it.

I've heard good things about milliput, that's why I bought it. But with all the troubles this stuff has been, I will stick with Aves. Pretty sure the sample I bought back in '06 still has some left,
. The paste that came with it is still good. Did a better job than the milliput did.

Milliput question

I have Milliput black, bought it around five years ago, and it was already old when I bought it, (a hind sight thing). Anyway, went to use it this weekend. The neutral colored stick has a crust on the outside. I trimmed the crust off, weighted equal portions and mixed well. First two were rather thi...

For decals like the Absolute 1/2500 aztec decals, it is suggested to use the float method. Use a dish large enough to fit the part being decaled. When the decal separates from the backing, slide the model underneath and position the decal to the desired position. Take your time and exercise extreme ...

I'm thinking of having the rod support the model, but not sure how to cut the rod at the proper angle so the SD sits right. Plus any tip...
