Citadel paints any good for airbrushing?

Hi folks, i have a decent stock of citadel acrylics sitting around, and i just was wondering if anyone ever tried them through an airbrush. If so what would be the best thinner & what were the results/finish like?

Thanks for any advice :)s

I got my New Iwata Eclipse HP-CS in the post today, and what a beauty it is to behold. Now, im wondering with this new brush, would i have to clean and strip it down everytime i use it, or make sure i run some cleaner through it and clean it out that way, then strip it down say once a month or so.. ...

Some good advice there, i like the fact that the colour cup is on top of the brush, and seems to have a lid on it..?

The comp came with its moisture trap and regulator+gauge, and two airlines with adaptors for paasche...

Hmm, very true, it is a major purchase for me. I've been stymied in my work
by having a next to useless compressor for too long, and i want to move onto the next level in the hobby. Will have to give it some more thought but i do like the look of that TC2000.

Been doing some more research, it's dam hard to find online shops who stock
these things in the uk.

Have a look at that one, a bit more expensive than the other one though :?

Well lads, i have been in touch with the folks who stock the ripmax in the first
post and they said it has a thermal cut out, no auto off by the sounds of it. Is that a bad thing? I cant see myself using the comp for long periods..

Right, i tried the air brush using only water and it seemed to spray ok, so then i tried using the ab with tamiya royal blue, with a little extra thinner than usual, the result was a bit of a disaster really, paint came out in blobs and a mottled appearance.. so i ended up washing it off and reprimi...

..i am inclined to think that the compressor isnt really up to the job. If i start spending more time on the hobby then i will have to invest in a better compressor. It's just a white box with an on/off switch..nothing else.

Now using tamiya acrylics...thinned with tamiya's own thinner. When i start to brush the air comes out with a blast initially, then settles down into a normal flo...
