You can file away at the top of the LED's to make them fit your needs just be careful of going near the crystal. As to the flash rate I think the only way to have a slower flash is to use a different hertz. I am just unsure which way you would need to go. I think its higher hertz for higher flash ra...

Yes, I have red and green LED's of the same size and same forward voltage but the current usage is different. I can't remember which way they are but one is 20mA and one is 25mA.

I haven't had a chance to do any electrics yet so I maygive you a wrong answer. When you wrap the LED with insulation tape keep the tape parallel to the sides as you wrap the fibres to it. Try not to go outside of this parameter as the light fade would start to show in the windows outputs. It maybe ...
