Re: 25th Anniversary, right?
Been here since the beginning, even before I HAD a computer! Used to browse the site on a WebTV! Every once in a while I re-read some of the articles I wrote or look at some of my old contest entries, the Tie defender I made out of an old MPC TiE interceptor and a cough syrup cup makes me smile, now...

Thoughts on Battery operated airbrushes?
I keep seeing ads pop up for these. Does anyone here use these? Are they effective? Pros? Cons?

Re: What am I doing wrong?
I have a very small, simple multimeter. How do I check the resistance for each led? Put the probes on each lead and turn the dial to the omega symbol? Then what? Each string has eight leds, two were damaged, and I need five more lights throughout the model. I was planning on wiring a nine volt clip ...

Re: What am I doing wrong?
I figured it out. I rewired in parallel and it works now. Strange thing though, the nine volt lights everything up, but the original two double A power pack will not. I’ve got five leds wired together with four, possibly five to go. Btw I checked the power pack for anything that remotely resembled a...

Re: What am I doing wrong?
I'm reasonably sure they were in parallel. No resistor attached. Connections were clean. All les posts were facing correctly.

What am I doing wrong?
Ok. I bought one of those mini strings of led Christmas lights at the dollar store, the ones that run off two double As. I ripped it apart and wired my Kelvin saucer with five of them. I wired them in series and tested each one with a nine volt to make sure they worked and I was connecting the corre...

Question on the Moebius J2 lighting kit...
In the mobius J2 lighting kit there is a set of wires that comes of the power jack assembly and is labeled for battery pack. Personally, I would love to run the set off a battery pack and maybe hide it in the space pod bay, and using that hatch to access the batteries. That being said, the instructi...

Just wondering if there are any OTHER interior lighting kits that will be available for the moebius Jupiter II ? I mean I Just cant spend almost $200 for a lighting kit from moebius, the other option is learn to do it myself, which is always a hoot-between the mathematical calculations, and burning ...

Moebius J2 lighting help/tutorial wanted......
Hello all, I have a request. I would like to know if anyone is interested in teaching myself and others here in constructing a lighting system for the interior of the Moebius Jupiter II. Something along the lines of : "this is what you need to buy", "this is what you have to solder&qu...
