Old HAL 9000 from Wilcox! models
Hi all, I was going to pick up the Moebius HAL 9000 kit when I remembered that I already have a 1:1 KIT. After 15 years, I finally finished painting the old resin HAL 9000 kit from Wilcox! models. The body is one solid piece of resin, and comes with a clear acrylic lens and a metal plate with "...

Re: Advice on Lighting Kits
Is that the lighting kit you have? I'm curious how they managed to get the correct flashing sequence without a controller of some kind. I know there are flashing LEDs that will flash on their own but how do you get them to flash at the right rate. Also do you have the warp nacelle lighting or is th...

Re: Advice on Lighting Kits
Thanks! The strobe feature is apparently built into the LED. I haven't run power to it yet so I can't confirm for sure. He does have a few vids on Youtube showcasing his work and I see strobes. Yes, it comes with a battery pack for two AA batteries. He posted a vid of the 1/537 refit. https://www.yo...

I'm not terribly knowledgeable when it comes to electronics. Cheers Mark Just doing some research before I...

Thanks! I haven't completed a model in a few years but I have lots of projects on that are in various stages of completion. It would be a shame not to add some lights to the 1/350 Enterprise. It would look nice beside my Master Replicas Enterprise. I had thought about Christmas LED awhile ago and ha...

EASY LED
Hi all, I'm contemplating tackling my 1/350 Enterprise-A. I've seen the Paragraphix Easy LED on sale. They come in strips and you can cut different lengths to suit the model. For someone with no electronics experience, is this something that I should look at? Do you just take a 9 volt and wire it to...
