Sorry for being very vague on the description. The handpiece that I saw don't have any inlet whatsoever for air hose. It's just a handpiece that looks like a fountain pen with a cup. That's why it puzzles me. As mentioned in my previous post, the proprietor showed me the handpiece and did mentioned ...

While browsing in a local art shop, I came across a "Gravity feed" handpiece. According to the proprietor, this handpiece doesn't require a compressor, uses gravity to feed the paint and ideal for fine lines.

Has anyone used this type of handpiece? It's a Paasche.

Help: Frosty effect on semi-gloss coat

I sprayed a semi-gloss clear coat on the model I've been working on. It developed patches of "frost" effect in certain area. Should I? : a) sprayed over it with another coat of clear (gloss type) or, b) sand it using 2000 grit sandpaper and reapply the top coat I'm using Gunze Sangyo's Lac...

Salt weathering

Could somebody explain to me what 'salt weathering' is and how it's done?

Thanks

Get a new tip. Buy a couple while you're doing so. The tip will wear down over time, and you may not notice until you try to do precision work. A worn tip may be OK for area coverage, but not fine control. A cracked tip - is garbage. You wil have no control. A coupl' a kudos comin' your way, man :)

I need help! My airbrush nozzle tip is chipped. :( Now when I pull back the needle to paint, bubbles starts to build up inside the cup. Is it possible if I just file away the tip, which could result larger diameter of the tip or should I get a new tip? Any ideas? BTW, I use a cheapo Sparmax double a...

Preliminary findings shows that the idea of using magnets is useless. Measuring almost 26 cm, the kit is too heavy for the magnet to lift it up. Maybe I should build an E-M generator in my backyard just for that purpose ;). Oh well.... Thanks for the link Arthur Pendragon. I would most probably use ...

Hi Chris,

Thanks for the feedback. I think some physics law need to be applied to make it work (Magnet positioning/angles?). I think I'll give it a try.

In-flight display minus the stand

Hi guys,

Here's the challenge... I want to build a Macross VF-0S and display it as in-flight. BUT, I don't want to use a stand or any other supporting stuff to hold it. Currently, I'm juggling with the idea of using magnets.

Any other ideas/comments?
