It applies great but shrinks a lot and sanding it sucks. I've gone back to Mister Dissolved Putty for the applications I was trying to use it for - yes that shrinks too but at least I can sand it decently with just a little care afterwards. It also tends to to dry up at the tip badly for me, so you ...

I built one years ago and enjoyed it a lot. When I was removing the canopy from the sprue I managed to get a giant crack in it - called ERTL to ask about a replacement part and they sent me an entire replacement kit so I know why they went out of business LOL The mechanics were pretty decent, I like...

No, we don't do that since the object is to have you come to the demo, and not only see but do the construction. We hope you can make it sometime!

Lighting demo at Wonderfest

This year I will be doing a lighting demo at the show, this will be a basic one on using the VoodooFX kit for the Mobeius Classic Raider. We will be doing assembly, LED wiring/soldering, kit modifying for the lights, and basic tips. In past years we have done a lot more advanced stuff, but I hear fr...

It seems like just the right thing for this application and its cheap! Don't forget to buy fuel...

I found that you can put 2 of the smaller CCFLs together on one driver - but not 2 of the big ones, and not one and one.

Works for me!

Does anyone know why CCFL inverters have 2 output connectors but only one ever seems to work? I am using quite a few CCFLs and I would like to cut down on the parts count...

If you can possible make it, consider attending Wonderfest, and come a day early for SciFiU. The courses are geared towards the novice/intermediate modeler, and you will not run out of folks to answer your questions.

I shoot it straight at no greater than 12psi - usually below 10.

At higher pressures it can dry before it hits the model, giving you that lovely mottled look.
