Halloween mask plastic, what kind is it?
Does anyone know what kind of plastic is used for the cheap Halloween masks? I have a conquistador helmet that I want to modify, but I don't want to destroy it using the wrong adhesive.
I will in the future a mold of it, but I want to use it for a costume party that is coming up soon.

I haven't done much with the gravtank, but I have mostly built up a mockup in card stock of a light tank. It looks almost as big as the heavy model, but is much smaller in volume. Basic 3 side view. http://i222.photobucket.com/albums/dd309/DOMENECH1776/GRAVTANK/gravtank.jpg Front right view, unfinis...

I have not worked on my tank in a while, but I did just finish the card stock prototype of a companion piece. It's either a grav lift version of a jeep/armored car or a very light tank. If I get off my butt, I'll post pics this weekend. I designed and built it while watching FX repeatedly air Battle...

Interesting. It would fit the criteria, but I would prefer to mold and sculpt the product onto the ball. Is it possible with this product? The videos show how to make molds or to cast from an object. Anyone have experience using this product, like I would like to, if it's even possible? By the way, ...

Antenna Topper Model
I have an idea for a stocking stuffer for my wife this year. Being the H.P. Lovecraft lover she is, I was thinking of making a Cthullu for her car. I have a expanded polystyrene ball with a hole that could be used as the base, and I can use some wire to start the wings, but I'm unsure what to use to...

I'm going to attempt to cut some styrene with my Silhouette SD in the next few days for my Hovertank Challenge build. I've seen examples of cut styrene from the machine and they look great. You can cut from a CAD file, and the machine cost me less than $200. Last year some online stores sold them fo...

I did the turret over, basically fixed the bad angles of the first build, then added the housing for the main gun. Then played around with greebles. http://i222.photobucket.com/albums/dd309/DOMENECH1776/Gravtankbuildpics/DSCF4641.jpg http://i222.photobucket.com/albums/dd309/DOMENECH1776/Gravtankbuil...

Color scheme is up in the air. I'm partial to the woodland color scheme, it's what most of our equipment in the USMC was painted in, but I want to do a diorama of this and some troops going in one direction, while refugees walk in the other direction. Depending what the diorama base comes out will a...

I did the following this last weekend. I used my Silhouette SD cutting plotter to cut my plans out of cardstock. 20 minutes of folding and gluing, I had the following: Top left front view. http://i222.photobucket.com/albums/dd309/DOMENECH1776/Gravtankbuildpics/IMG_5102.jpg Top rear right view. http:...

So I say the same goes for antigravity. Seeing as how it violates a basic law of physics anyway , have fun with it. I prefer to see it as gravity violating the basic law of physics. Since we don't float away, we're commiting gravity, and disobeying the law of antigravity That makes us all law break...

I found a CORPS! vehicle on sale for $7 in the discount section. I'm thinking that maybe it could be made into a support vehicle, cut out the center section and make into a APC of some kind. Has two thrust fan units in the rear, and a hovercraft skirt around the bottom. http://i222.photobucket.com/a...

Love the use of the old monitor base, I actually have one, I'm planning to make into a Federation starbase. Someday. For the directional vanes, are they in the lift fan grills? If so you could use some plastruct roofing sheets, the kind with over lapping planks. Just cut out a circle and I think it ...

I'm thinking of adding small wheels to my tank. If a tank uses some form of Grav manipulation for lift, but also utilizes some form of thrust, then wheels that are used for specific terrains could be used. For example, in urban areas, or interstates when speed is more of an issue than using terrain ...

I've never looked through the Traveller books, other than just a quick peek in the local game store. I have no idea how humanity will survive. Humanities final breath could arrive in a year, or we could come out on top after a hundred year war. The campaign, though vital to the war effort is not nec...

This is the grav tank I'm going to try to build. I have a Tamiya M2A2 to supply greebles and some german granadiers all in 1/35 scale, to flesh this beast out. The portals on the tank are roughly the size of the door on the M2A2. The tail end of the booms house jet thrusters for horizontal movement....
