Thanks, thats an option. I try to order what I can through a model train store down the road in Brunswick, NY. Only been open, not even a year, yet.

Does anyone have someplace they would look to for trusses? I can order from Plastruct, but I was wondering if there is anyone else I can source from.

I'm going to assume its styrene and test it as such. It's a hat, but it feels like the same cheap plastic masks that had a rubber band to stay in place. It's white on the inside, with cheap silver paint on the outside. No markings.

Does anyone know what kind of plastic is used for the cheap Halloween masks? I have a conquistador helmet that I want to modify, but I don't want to destroy it using the wrong adhesive.

I will in the future a mold of it, but I want to use it for a costume party that is coming up soon.

I have a Silhouette, and from some of the forums for cardstock modelers, I've read that cardstock dulls the blades faster than styrene will.

Interesting. It would fit the criteria, but I would prefer to mold and sculpt the product onto the ball. Is it possible with this product? The videos show how to make molds or to cast from an object. No, those are simplified backpacks strapped to the sides of the mule. I figure a squad of 4-6 marines could strap them on the mule to lighten their load.

Actually, I've been told that it cuts thin styrene with less wear and tear on the blade than cardstock paper. Haven't tried it yet, but I will for this finished model.
