Poor amateur photos, but a lot of 'em

They're bad, but there's a lot of them and they're posted fast. Hope they tide you over until the pros post. 600+ here: https://postimg.cc/gallery/1h6QPRDL For me the star of the show was the Foundation FTL ship. That alone was worth the trip. I also really liked the USS Mazierski, blue cargo ship w...

Re: Wonderfest 2023 contest photo gallery

A TON of talent. Some I really liked, in no particular order: The Star Wars railroad layout theme park (what Galaxy's Edge should be) The ship in a shadow box frame in the corner with a neat rail mounted cargo handler - the shadow box was a great idea; my photos miss the superb interior bay details ...

Wonderfest 2023 contest photo gallery

I posted about 200 photos of the contest entries here: https://postimg.cc/gallery/TYMnKkb More of the vehicles than figures, apologies if I missed yours. I wish the contest room was open later than 5PM. Also, it will be apparent that I am not a great photographer. I posted 2021's entries back then i...

Re: Who collects stuff for scratch building?

Apparently I bought at least 228 pints of Dean's milk or OJ over the past few years to get their awesome caps, just counted them.

Sadly they've just gone to the much more boring, smaller cap that you see on most gallon milk jugs.

Adam Savage one day Star Wars scratchbuild/kitbash

Not a lot of scratchbuilding tutorials get 435,000 views in two weeks - Adam Savage builds a fleet command, er, manlift? Elevated throne chair? Anyway, good intro to scratchbuilding. His work is deft and lighthearted and the result looks pretty good. We should all enjoy the process this much. "...

Personally, I'd start with Vernor Vinge's A Fire Upon The Deep, the chrome tropical fish ship (Out Of Band II).

Resin or other clear solid substance that dries from fluid?

OT, but I need to fill the bottom of a clear, narrow flower vase partway with a solid substance for it to properly hold a gold-dipped rose for a certain lady. The rose is heavy and short stemmed, so I need to fill about 2"-2 1/2" of the bottom with something fairly heavy and either attract...
