Got them in yesterday. Not completely impressed with the amount of light coming off of them (the bigger the dimmer), but then again, they aren't high voltage or anything. I do think the light is pretty well distributed over the whole surface of the thing.

Nice find! I ordered a small stack, I'm hoping to use it as engine lighting in my AMT tydirium. Could be a great fit!

What's the circuit? I assume you bought it somewhere, do you have a link to the layout? I'm sure it can be reversed, if only by inserting the LEDs on the other side of the board (if you understand me there).

Just thought I'd chip in with the smallest arduino-ish board I've seen till now, the
Tinylily mini. Round board which measures in at 14.0mm (0.55 inch) diameter.

I'm sure there are helpfull modelers on this forum willing to program an arduino to help others out. That would mean any 'technically inclined' modelers would only need to purchase LEDs and solder them themselves to the arduino. With the little experimenting I've done with this I've found that using coloured LEDs instead of colouring the strands gives the best colour. YMMV
