Can anyone recommend a method for cutting 1mm plastic fiber optic?
I used modeling snips, but they're pinching the ends.
Does anyone have another suggestion?
Thanks,
-Tchail

Hot knife blade? Maybe a pyrogravure thingy that Verlinden was always raving about?

Do you want a flat end,or a convex,or concave end? To maintain a flat end,I just superglue 320 grit, and 600 grit wet,or dry sandpaper on each side of a popcicle stick. Then I just lightly sand with 320 grit, then with 600 grit to make it flat again. This allows the light path to be highly visible again. I hope this helps in some small way.
