The right paint

Post by kugar13 »

Hey guys,

I know the answer varies per person, but what brand, type, and color grey do you guys use, via airbrush, to paint your ships?

One of my fav projects posted here is the deathstar turbolaser:

He used Floquil Gray Primer, which I may use as well, but I wanted to see what you guys like.

Thanks!

Oh yes, one of my fav builds as well! Incredible. Sorry, that I probably can't answer your question properly. I am still using Revell Aqua Color colors and on top of that I am still painting with a brush

Yeah, the guy's work is stellar! One of the best builds IMHO. I tried contacting him via email, but he never replied. =(

Much respect!

Tony does incredible work.

I use Tamiya paints for 99% of my work, the other 1% is Gunze & Alclad.

I use a wide variety of paints. Everything from Floquil, to Citadel acrylics and lots of Humbrol...

Not really given the fluctuation of viewing colors on the web. There are charts for cross indexing one maker against the other.

Now if I could just find the blasted website...

I see... that makes sense.
If I find something I'll post it here.

Thanks!

IIRC, Tony used Tamiya paints on most of his work.
